With Rockwell Automation discontinuing its 1761-NET-ENI solution to connect EtherNet/IP equipment to legacy Allen-Bradley controllers, users can choose DF1 routing modules as a NET-ENI replacement. Along with seamless communication between the user’s new and legacy PLC, SCADA, and DCS systems, the routing module allows addition of an EtherNet/IP-based PanelView Plus to an existing DF1 network, as well as remote programming of existing DF1 PLCs.
