The 78E Series Ex encoder is designed for hazardous-duty applications in oil/gas, refineries, mining and material handling industries. Its "flameproof" enclosure has ATEX, IEC Ex and TÜV approvals. It’s available in a wide range of interfaces, including SSI, CANopen, DeviceNet or Profibus. It features a 78-mm diameter housing in anodized aluminum or stainless steel, and is designed for a temperature range of -40 °C to +70 °C.
