Plant leaders, engineers, operations teams, and industry stakeholders are set to address the operational, reliability, and workforce challenges facing modern processing and manufacturing facilities in Kingsport, Tenn. The two-day eChem Expo 2026, billed as a solutions marketplace and technology innovations conference for plant-level processing and manufacturing, will take place April 8–9 at the MeadowView Conference Resort & Convention Center.

The recently announced full conference program is built around real purchasing needs and operational priorities identified through stakeholder interviews with professionals across the industry, according to organizers. It features more than 20 hours of accredited education led by industry experts from companies such as Mettler-Toledo, KOCH, Protego, IndexAR Solutions, Hargrove and Endress+Hauser.

"Amid rapid change and rising performance demands, manufacturing teams need clear, practical guidance top-down and peer-to-peer,” said Conference Director Damon Bryan Shackelford. “eChem Expo is designed to bring the industry together to share proven insights and technologies that help organizations move forward with confidence."

The 2026 conference program is organized into eight focused educational tracks designed to address the operational priorities shaping plant performance, safety and reliability. Attendees will have access to expert-led presentations, interactive discussions and real-world case studies designed to provide practical insights that can be applied immediately within plant environments.

In addition, content presented at eChem Expo allows engineering and technical professionals to earn professional development hours toward PDH and API accreditation. There will also be opportunities for peer-to-peer learning and industry networking both on-site networking and through curated off-site experiences.

The event experience begins with Pre-conference activities begin on April 7 with a perimeter tour of the Eastman Chemical facility and the ISA Golf Tournament that attendees can add to their pass. Networking continues throughout the conference with scheduled happy hours, networking breaks and an official off-site bar crawl, giving attendees the opportunity to explore downtown Kingsport while connecting with peers from across the processing and manufacturing industry.

The exhibit floor will feature nearly 150 exhibitors highlighting technologies and solutions for the processing and manufacturing industries.

Regional and local process companies, manufacturing and EPC stakeholders, government organizations, government contractors, and past attendees qualify for complimentary registration.
