As a result, smart valve positioners have gained in popularity, reports Badger Meter’s Jim Braxton in a recent ChemicalProcessing.com article.
While providing highly accurate positioning of the valve actuator, smart positioners also handle data and diagnostic functions, Braxton says. Additionally, integrated digital communications provide greater visibility and control.
