M200 control system is certified as compliant with the UL6200 standard for power-generating facilities in the U.S. and Canada. Following a comprehensive approval process, more than 100 M200 products achieved certification for UL categories FTPM and FTPM7. These include network measurement, protection and synchronization modules, MX2xx and MC2xx CPU families, infrastructure components and other analog and digital I/O modules.
Consisting of industrial Pentium CPUs, I/O modules and real-time bus networking, M200 combines the flexibility of a PC-based controller with the reliability of industrial hardware. They’re designed for tough environmental conditions, and guarantee failsafe operation with fanless installation from -40 °C up to an ambient temperature of 70 °C.
