InstantHMI PDA Clipboard validates data entries people make by automatically recording the person's physical location and time when data is entered.Using the Global Positioning System, the location of the PDA is always known.Barcoding and RFID can be used to make the capturing of data automatic and more reliable. The HMI is compatible with Allen-Bradley, Koyo, Mitsubishi, Modicon, Omni Flow, Siemens, Trio, Toshiba, Watlow, Wago and Yaskawa controllers. Connectivity is via wireless RF (WiFi 802.11a/b/g, Bluetooth), Ethernet (TCP/IP), Direct Serial Cable (RS232, 485, 422), and wireless infrared (IrDA).InstantHMI PDA Clipboard uses GPS which is a worldwide radio-navigation system formed from a constellation of 24 satellites and their ground stations. InstantHMI PDA Clipboard uses these "man-made stars" as reference points to calculate thedata entry location.In a sense GPS gives every square meter on the planet a unique address. It can be configured as a clipboard replacement using a PDA or a Tablet PC that provides customizable forms for manual data entry (including numeric or alphanumeric data, checklist of items, pull-down list of choices etc.).InstantHMI 4.0 incorporates a Windows PC based LaunchPad to design Project Screens and Tag Database, which can then be deployed on any of the target platforms, where you have installed the appropriate InstantHMI Runtime engine. The LaunchPad allows pre-testing of the tags and screens on the Windows PC platform before deploying on the target Windows PC (95/98/ME/NT/2000/XP), PDA (Palm OS and Pocket PC) or Windows CE Platforms.It provides a powerful and flexible HMI/SCADA solution for monitoring and control applications.For example, in Motion Control applications use the mobile platform for Multiple Profile Configurations, Diagnostics & Troubleshooting, Graphic Position Display, Graphic I/O Display, Trajectory Data Storage, Error Logs and Remote Wireless Monitoring.InstantHMI is extensible and can be customized to meet OEM and application needs.Specialized interfaces, pre-programmed Tag Databases, Graphical Screens, extended functionality and many other aspects of InstantHMI can be tailored to meet your specifications.InstantHMI is compatible with dozens of controllers – including Allen-Bradley, Koyo, Mitsubishi, Modicon, Omni Flow, Siemens, Trio, Toshiba, Watlow, Wago, Yaskawa and many more.
