Control systems cybersecurity expert Mary Edwards will succeed Mike Marlowe as The Automation Federation’s managing director, effective June 26. Marlowe will continue with the organization as managing director emeritus until his retirement in December.
A 25-year industry veteran, Edwards is currently serving as director of the Industrial Control Systems Cyber Emergency Response Team (ICS-CERT), an operational division of the National Cybersecurity and Communications Integration Center (NCCIC) in the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).
As the umbrella and outreach association of the International Society of Automation (ISA), the Automation Federation aims to to foster economic growth and manufacturing innovation by helping industry harness the capabilities and potential of automation technologies and applications.
